The Haufe family collection on Hildreth Mansion contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and other material documenting the Hildreth Mansion, a Victorian house built in the Bunker Hill neighborhood of Los Angeles between 1886 and 1889 and restored by John and Mabel Haufe in the late 1940s as a rooming house named Hopecrest.
